Ravio cosplay by Valerei Ravio cosplay by Valerei
I usually don't share my cosplays here on DA, but this one I'm rather proud of, because it's the very first cosplay I've made on my own! I'm so new to sewing and making patterns so I'm surprised over how nice it turned out!

This will be worn at Närcon this summer if everything goes according to plan, the only thing I've left to do is get some contact lenses, a wig and fix the shoes a little bit.

I'm having the same problem with the rabbit mask/hood. I literally have no idea how to make it look decent.
I made a helm out of construction paper (probably not the smartest idea) and covered gaps with tinfoil and then paper mached it. I feel like it's too big and when I went to cover it with material, nothing would lay right. :/ So it's just sitting here and I can't decide if I should just throw it out or what.  Ugh it's so frustrating.

This is what mine looks like right now:
Very boxy and mediocre T_T

its pretty darn good for someones first cosplay, the belt was really well made. but i think the hat is a little bit too small. for mine that i am planning i was thinking making a stuffed hat with something in the border so it would fit well either covering my face or just resting on my head, ya know like making it tight but flexibleClap

That was my first plan as well, three tries later I realized I just couldn't make it work :( it looked awful no mather what I did to it.
So yeah, I agree that it is too small but in the end I just kinda gave up.

I hope yours turn out good though, it would be nice to see it once it's done! :D

well for mine ive only found the scarf and robes on amazon for cheap prices. anyway, how did you make the belt?

I used fake leather and just sewed it all together!
For the rupee I used craftfoam to make it which  I painted with metallic nail polish to get a super shiny surface.
